Ballad Poem
SLAVERY
Back then slaves were treated like hell
The Abolitionists would be in cells
Slaves would make plans to escape, but would fail
They died by natural death, diseases, and starvation
Once they were bought, they worked on plantation
The slaves would want to go to a free state by transportation
They were named, but couldn't pronounce it
Since they didn't eat they weren't fit
They had many wounds because they were hit
Slavery was in the South
They weren't able to say what was in their mouth
All they wanted to do was stay in their house
They didn't have many rights
They couldn't be able to stand up for a fight
They wished their skin was light

Narrative Poem
Going To Middle School
Middle school was nerve wracking
I felt like this day was never gonna end
This is a new begining
Its time to meet new friends
The first thing is to find my schedule
I'm gonna have to get use to having more then one class
New teachers, more homework !
Going to my first period, lots of changes going to happen
Time for Nutrition, survived a class
There are several kids everywhere !
Hopefully I can make it through the day
This day isn't getting bad afterall
The bell has rang for the next class
Here I go again, learn
I observe what everyone does especially the teachers
New textbooks, new binders, etc.
Finally lunch, another break
Time to eat and scan for my food
Spending time with the new friends
It feels like a normal day
Time for advisory, another class
I see a different teacher wondering around the classroom
I feel more calm, that I know most of the students
Almost through the day on the first day of school
Finally last period of the day !
Learning a different subject, like usual
I see the clock "tik-tok"
A few more minutes, till that bell rings
"HORRAY" survived the first day of middle school
I meet new friends, teachers, etc.
I can be able to memorize the schedule I have
I think I can get use to this, everyday

Look & Learn
Most remembered for his Central leadership role in the rise of fascism in Europe. |
Nazis soldiers obey the rules from Hitler to take control of Jewish people. |
Gas chambers were "supposedly" showers that had acid that would kill the Jews. |
Jewish people would go in hiding,
like in abandon places so the Nazis
won't capture them.
About 6 million Jewish people died during the Holocaust by diseases, starvation, or murdered. |
The Jewish people in concentration camps would wear the same clothes every day, even though they are still dirty. |
Yellow star of David, Jewish people would wear them so Nazis could identify them easier. |
The Swastika was the main symbol of Nazism and remains strongly associated with it in the Western world. |
Jewish people who were sent to concentration camps because of their religion. |

1945- Hitler is defeated and World War II ends in Europe. The Holocaust is over and the death camps are emptied. Many survivors are placed in displaced persons facilities.
1946- An International Military Tribunal (Judicial assembly) is created. Their being created by Britain, France, the United States, and the Soviet Union. At Nuremburg, Nazi leaders tried for war crimes by the exceeding judicial assembly.
1947- The United Nations establishes a Jewish homeland in British-controlled Palestine. It becomes the State of Israel in 1948. That was the end of the Holocaust and the lucky Jews survived.
Anne Frank- Stage Adaptions
The story Anne Frank is about a Jewish 13-year-old girl who name is Anne Frank and she writes a diary about her life in the Holocaust. Around a dozen of people live in the same attic for 2 straight years. She got her diary for her 13th birthday that her father gave her. The whole family only gets to eat a little amount of food and have little space of privacy. Anne got along with her dad the most and Margot got along with her mom. Anne had to have a new roommate, which was a dentist name Dussell. He had no place to go and Miep recommended him to stay with Mr. Frank. After a couple of days Dussell and Anne didn’t get along at all. Peter and Anne started having dates in his room, but Peter still missed Moushi because that pet was very important to him. Later on while the Franks, Van Daans, Dussell, etc were home they heard a sound and found out that someone stole their radio and the guy whole stole the radio found out that the Franks and the rest of the people were located there. They were all nervous and when it was night time, Mrs. Frank woke up and heard a sound where the food was and she caught Mr. Van Daan eating the food. She got very upset and wanted to kick him out, because it’s not fair that he’s eating more than the other people and he never told them. Mr. Van Daan didn’t get kick out because Anne wanted Peter to be there with her. Eventually, everyone who lived in the attic got caught because of the guy who stole their radio told the Nazis where they were. Everyone was sent to concentration camps and Mr. Frank was the only one who survived the Holocaust, Anne and Margot died from typhus, and everyone else got murdered. Mr. Frank found Anne’s diary and published it so everyone can see how they lived during the holocaust.
